What Is a Carbon Footprint?

 A carbon footprint represents the total amount of greenhouse gases (GHG) emitted directly and indirectly by an organization, process, or product. It's usually expressed in CO₂ equivalent (CO₂e).

Standards and Methodologies

Green Analytics develops carbon footprint assessments using internationally recognized standards and carbon accounting frameworks.

For organizational greenhouse gas inventories, we apply ISO 14064-1, supporting the identification, quantification and reporting of Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions.

For Product Carbon Footprint (PCF) studies, we apply ISO 14067, enabling manufacturers and suppliers to quantify the greenhouse gas emissions associated with their products and respond to customer, procurement and supply chain requirements.

Where appropriate, calculations can also be aligned with the GHG Protocol, including its Corporate Standard and Scope 3 framework.
